Description of Foam PVC Board
Expanded PVC foam sheets may come in many different densities; therefore, the raw materials used to make the plastic are mixed together under controlled conditions and then dispensed into molds according to the desired application. The mold is then sealed, clamped and placed in a large press to be heated. Finally, the material expands in a hot water bath to reach its final purpose and cure. After curing, the block is cut into slices of various thicknesses. Expanded PVC foam panels can be cut to size, softened and shaped to suit specific needs as easily as wood.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material is widely used as cladding material for wall panels, wood pipes and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. PVC panels are a strong and lightweight composite material. There are now a variety of finishes, colors and sizes for people to choose from. PVC panels have many advantages and disadvantages. And PVC wallboard can be used as a substitute for traditional decoration materials.
