Description of Foam PVC Board
Highing recommend PVC film or PETG or other nice material laminated Co-extrusion PVC foam board to be used for kitchen or bathroom cabinets' making, especially in very wet floor or wall surroundings. With marble or tile or wood texture apperance, PETG laminated PVC foam board can replace wood or plywood with its perfect performance of fire-retardant, water-resistant , easy clean, easy maintenance. It is light but can be treated drill, nail , cut and heating as you do with wood and plywood, but save lot labor and time.
PVC foam board provides insulation and is fairly fire resistant.
One of the best things about PVC foam panels is that they are available in matt/glossy finishes and can be used directly in kitchen storage cabinets. However, any rough surface will have scratches; therefore we recommend using a laminate or film for such surfaces.
The only downside to PVC cabinets is the need for a skilled carpenter to secure the furniture. Even incorrectly tightening the boards can cause the shutters and drawers to sag.
